MYKOLAYIV. On tuesday, employees of the Regional Department of the State Road Traffic Inspectorate of Ukraine held an action entitled Zebra - krashchy druh pishohoda (Zebra is the best friend of pedestrian) aiming to decrease road traffic accidents in Mykolayiv. For the purpose, inspectors helped old people, children and other pedestrians to cross the street without threat to their lives. During the action employees of the Regional Department of the State Road Traffic Inspectorate conducted public awareness efforts as well as distributed some special instruction booklets among Mykolayiv residents.
